Its not finished yet obviously - but the interface looks quite reasonable.
It would be good if you could introduce some of the links/functionality on at least one of the pages so we can see what should be happening when it is finished.
good luck.

sorry, I mean when you click on 'portfolio', it opens up portfolio, but then if you click on websites, its opens a window that says 'click to launch' and goes to a url-not-here page on everything.
I would just like to see what you had in mind for the completed site...
Also, the windows with the text and the scroll buttons, perhaps you would be better off using a scrollbar component, or scrollpane component in these - they look and feel more like a conventional scroll bar - and navigation needs to be intuitive for a site to work well.
Aside from that, good work.

thanks bill, there is one thing about me I realy dont like using components cos they make me feel I am lazy, but I like ur advice. as for the "launch u said" I now understand I am still to edit the pictures( thumbnails) of all the websites I have done before editing the xml file such that the portfolio should appear complete just that another project is putting me down www.mediacare.org but as soon as I have time i will complete mind, say this weekend
thanks for the concern

I know what you mean - I have the same concerns re:components, but it won't make you lazy - there is so much to try to figure out with them.
But maybe if you don't like the idea of a component, build a movieclip window using a mask for your text, (make it dynamic text, of course) and scroll with _x +=2,_x -=2 rather than using text.scroll. Its smoother.
Cheers:)
