simple text/label button (undefined?)

hi. i'm trying to make a simple link with just text. i don't want it to look like a button. i want it to look like a label that links to another page. every time i convert a label to a button, it won't let me use any web behaviors and when i test it, it always shows up as "undefined."

how can i just make a label that links to another page? text control works, but the mouse over is only clickable on certain parts of each letter. :(

p.s. btw, this is flash mx 2004

if you double click on the button it should show you its states. make a keyframe under hit then draw a box over it using the shape tool. color doesn't matter.
this will define the clickable area so not only certain parts of the text will be clickable but a whole solid block area.
