movie clip button

i want to make a button out of a movie clip that expands on rollover but reverses to default postion on rollout but im not gettin a total grasp on the prev frame function and i cant find any tutorials, anyone know how to do this.

First, make a movieclip that has the animation on it with a stop action on the first frame.
Then, make a clear button over the mc.

The rest ill get to you when i get home. i forgot the actual code :P
