Why do alot of Flash sites pop up in aTollbarless window? Ive done several and have never done this before. Is there a specific good reason?

Please infor me.

Thanks---and this is nothing more than a basic Javascript popup window with No toolbar, etc. etc. and Loaded with the SWF file only correct?

Thanks again. tvance

a couple of reasons I cna think of -

it looks good!

without the browser controls people can't save your swf files and steal your content.

depending on your navigation method the back button on the browser is not the same as the back inside your site.

could be other thigs as well, but those are some good ones!

Its also handy when u want to define everything ! Its really hard to force the window to be a specific color, or to change the graphics of those standard things (like the backbutton). Its stylebreaking to allow those abominations to defile your screen ! :)
