I'm working in MX 2004, does anyone have any suggestions on how to control the lines that sometimes box in keyframes?
Let me explain further, when a keyframe is created, sometimes there is a black vertical line at the front of the frame, sometimes at the back of the frame, sometimes on both sides and sometimes not at all. These black lines indicates (as far as I can tell) a break in the symbol that appears on that layer. Most of the time it is irrelevant where the line falls, but when I want to swap a symbol with a different symbol on the same layer after a tween has been made, (working with graphic symbols here) it won't allow that to happen unless these black lines are in place. It'll revert back to the original symbol.
I don't know how to control where the black line falls. Maybe I'm overlooking something else. Any help? Thanks.
