Anyone familiar with the famous page-flipping engine?

I want to add something to it. I want music to play depending on what page in the book the viewer's on. Can someone quickly outline what kind of code I'd need and where I'd need to put it?

I tried doing the code myself and I was pretty successful, but it seems that the "page" variable doesn't count the pages properly if I decide to flip backward. Weird weird weird.
