The company I work for is considering using flex. We have a couple of Flash developers well versed in actionscript.
I am a bit vague on what flex does, and offer to us?
How does it fit in with Flash, coldfusion etc?

flex is a java based server side framework that allows you to develop swf content using xml. it plugs directly into anytype of remoting supported by MM (coldfusion).
if your company is developing large scale RIA's then flex is the way to go.

thanks hangalot, who does the flex development work usually fall on? server side developers or clients side flash developers?
Basically is it going to be alot of hassle for me who knows a reasonable amount of actionscript but not that much experiance of server side languages to start messing with flex? And do I really want the headache?
