I'd say its mostly bitmaps created in Photoshop or AfterEffects then placed in Flash. Its not vector (I don't think) because it jpegs badly when you scale it.

yeah, the things used are probably bitmaps, but the question is how did they manage to make thos exploding effects, like the BIII that explodes into a whole lot of white squares that fade in and out??
any ideas? it looks wicked
