noticed in lot of flash files - the fonts are non-antialiased on purpose, are they creating them in photoshop and creating graphic files or is there a way
to have flash not alias your type? thanks in advance

They use so called pixel fonts. Try to search the forums on them, as I think there's a handy explanation somewhere. You could also just use a search engine and browse the internet on the topic.
Also, we have a tutorial on the subject : http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials/beginner/using_pixel_fonts/index.shtml
