Wow great site

I was surfing the Net and came to this site

The intro was very suprisingly for me, becoz i am not so experienced in flash, there was lot of alphas and movement. Only thing i didnt like was anti-aliased text. Anyway what do you think of this, i mean what tools are used for creating this site: only Flash or something more?

yup great site. lots of smooth animation everywhere and looks really pro. looks like its done in flash to me with maybe the odd bit of 3d stuff (vector 3d or swift 3d).

i think most peeps expect this post to be in the site check forum although i know u are askin bout the effects.

and a quest back; i hear lots about 'anti-aliased text'. what does this mean?

Well i dont know if its true, but clicking the menus and the longer text that appears cliking seems to be anti-aliased, because it seems to me, tell me if i am wrong.

Anti-aliased text is text that is "smoothed". It allows the text to be displayed without the jagged curves you will sometimes see. Examples on this page of anti-alised text are in the "New Thread" and "Post Reply" buttons at the top of the page. Compare this to the "Actionscript.org--FORUMS>..." link at the top left. Hope this helps a little.
