Convert colors.

How do I make it so all of a color in a movie clip is changed to a different color, instead of putting a transparent shade of color over the whole thing? I do not want to go through making seperate sprites of different colors.

Its always good to look in the Flash help. If you look there you will find that flash has a color object specifically for this purpose. This question should go in the newbie forum :)

well...I looked and I couldn't find it...can you be a little more specific? I dont want to change the shade of the whole object through advanced. I just want to change a certain color in it. Shouldn't I be able to just take the shade of the color (in numbers) and somehow tell it to be a different number??

sorry , I misunderstood your original post. You can't target a specific color. You can only cahnge the color of a given movieclip. An obvious work around is to organize your moviclip such that all areas you want to change the color of are in a nested clip, and you just change the color of that.

In flash 8. you will have other options :)
