My Flash MX pro is quitting on start-up. It stops loading a the "building workspace" point of the load. Anyone else experience this problem? I suspect it's a font issue. Any ideas? I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.2 (Tiger)

This happens sometimes if you have plugins that flash can't read properly, if you have anything in extension manager that is user made stuff try getting rid of it.
It also happens with PIRATED versions of Flash, so make sure your version is perfectly legal.
If it is to do with fonts, save all your fonts in a seperate location (so you don't lose them) and reset "Font Book" to factory defaults.

I'm using a purchased copy of MX 2004, Suitcase and I have nothing in my extensions.

Have you ever got it working before?
Try re-installing it into a different directory

Yes-it worked fine for many months.

Did you do anything before it crashed that could have infected it?
Do try re-installing it to a different directory though.
