Is it supposed to be just the menu with functionless buttons? Looks promising, but I'd like to see the next stage:). The menu functions well.
If I may offer my humble opinions... I like it when menus don't need to say "menu"; that they are designed in a way that that's the first thing a user will click on regardless of the use of text. (Or since it's the only button there, you could leave it blank, or say "Welcome" or something else inviting. Perhaps when rolled over, instead of the other buttons appearing beneath it, they morph out of the menu button, or a "blank" menu button becomes the "home" button.)
I think it would have a more consistent look if the stars appeared behind the horizontal scrolly-thing.

Color-wise. Maybe it's just me, but the gray and blue didn't work too well on my eyes. Of course, it IS a personal preference. But the values of gray and the values of blue just didn't sit well with me for some reason.
