Loading Text Files... Or Sql

Well I have been developing a game to work with communication server, however when trying to load text files or url strings to communicate with mysql I get errors with several classes not supported by communications server. Does anyone know a method of sending strings e.g. "http://blah.com/test.php?user=cool&pass=iamcool" or loaidng a text file from a location on the server or else where?

Nevermind I have the feeling I will be told to use AMFPHP...

There must be a way to entirely script it server sided. All solutions I found were client sided which is a big no no...
