hi folks!

i'm having a trouble with the way flash is handling my text! I just want some ordinary text NOT to be antialized but could not find a way to do so.

In the attached file you can see in the upper part the way flash renders the font in both way static and dynamic text.
In the lower part you can see the same made in photoshop without antialiazing, which looks much better...

so now my question: is there a way to solve the problem? (and not the way of making an image of each letter A-Z!)

thanks for input!

Hi,

Have you tried positioning all your text on whole pixels? If the font doesn't antialiase in Photoshop it shouldn't in Flash, unless you deliberately turned it off in Photoshop. Is it a display font? Try going to:

cheers.

so i found tha solution:

- as poab sayd already it is most important to position the text on whole pixels!

- font must be used in proper size

- for further information and better description go there! (http://www.orgdot.com/aliasfonts/) you also get some niiice fonts for free there...

- make sure to test your stuff at 100% displayed in a browser!

thanx to you poab rgrds
