scroller to appear on a html page in different folder...

ok, my problem is this...

i have an html page that is in my main parent folder...

then in a sub folder i have a flash scroller (which uses external .as script and text variable)

now i have it this way for ease, but when i place the scroller onto the page, it shows up, but the text doesn't...

why is this? do i have to have the scroller in the same folder for it to show up, i can't see why tho... :( any one help? have i been clear?
