Hello, please help..
I try myself working with FLV for the first time.
I've built a portfolio site in which all sections are loaded into the container empty mc on the _root.
Here: http://www.photo-b7.com/up/test/
In the "motion design" section (mc which I load into the container) I put my 5 flv movies which starts when "launch project" button pressed..
Everything works fine when I run this movie individualy - not through the main movie. However, when I test this section loaded into the main movie (container), it spoils the whole process of portfolio buttons close/open.
Look what happens after your first visit at "design motion" section.
How can this effect that?
When I delete all the FLV components from the loaded movie everything starts work well.
Do you know what I mean?
Thank you!

Still can't solve it :(
Tried to move the all movies into individual swf and load them into the empty mc's inside container - doesn't help. Everytime when media component is loaded it spoils the main movie animation code.
Somebody? Please..

Yeah I have the same problem...I have a setup swf and a container swf. In the container swf I try to load another swf that has a media component to play a video. (The container swf has media components too, but attached to other flvs) When I try to load up the swf into the container swf, it crashes Flash.....

However, it gets weird here if I set both the container & setup SWFs to publish at Flash player 6 (which shouldnt read an FLV video!) all loads up and works fine , when one is FLP 7 and the other FLP 6, nothing happens, when both are FLP 7 it crashes....

(Borticello try publishing at FLP 6 it might work for you though)

For me FLP 6 is not an option...since at 6 the FLVs work fine but it screws up my CSS & XML formatting in my scroll boxes! RRRRRRR! So it s trade off...

Any help Please as well
