Does anyone know where to look to find the definition of the content of the help file tree that comes up when you press F1 in Flash? Their format (.hlp, xml, or whatever) alone would be a help in finding them.

I want to get rid of some files I never use, so they don't make me scroll through to get to the meat. For example, I have lots of third-party files that load up "help" in Flash. These were welcome when first installed, but now they just clutter up my help book/tree. I don't want to DELETE the files, but I want to turn them off and grab them manually if I need them.

I've really looked throughout the \en and other folders, but where MM hid this one eludes me.

editor's note: I put this in components because it was components that tended to do this kind of thing the most.

Man, there are a million of them in there.

For others who may read this post, make sure hidden files are shown in your explorer settings.

Thanks, XEEF. I was hoping that those who put them there would know where they were. Did you just know this, or did you know where to look, or what? I kept looking in the programs. I didn't even think to look in the docs.

edit: Your location wasn't exactly correct, but it WAS the right folder. It must be different for each user.

Again, thanks. This will make my life easier.

And isn't that what they used to say about computers?
