Entering code freehand?

Hi There,

When I enter an on mouse event, how do I enter my own code, instead of all the pre-defined actions, ie. get url, go to etc?

I'm using Flash 4.

As far as I know it is not possible (only with cut and paste actions), but in Flash 5 it is.... also the scripting is much better.

I honestly don't really remember! Isn't there at the bottom when you add a script, the textFields for adding what you want? An dthe possibility to change from an expression, etc...Gawd...that seems like aeons ago!

I don't remember a way in Flash 4. I know there was an additional box that you could open when setting values for variables and things, after selecting expresion or string. Damn. Flash 4 really was different now that I think back!
