Hello...
I have a few movieclips that are aligned on the stage side by side via script. When one of the movie clips is selected, it opens wider, calling an interval that will reposition the neighboring movieclips as the selected one grows. The way it grows is via a timeline inside of the movieclip which has a mask that animates out to reveal the additional area. The problem I am having is that right when the animation starts, the width of the movieclip traces at its final width as if it were already open. This causes the neighboring movieclips to snap to there final position without animating to that position. Shouldnt the width of the movieclip change as the mask animates out, or does Flash automatically account for the area of space that it will take even when the mask is in its closed position?
Thanks in advance for any help!
