Has anyone found a way to import illustrator files with brush strokes as lines. They import as shapes. I am trying to animate with lines that look like they were drawn in crayon. I need them to remain lines so I can animate them. I tried to optimize the lines, but that just makes more simplified shapes.
Any ideas?
Thanks

what do you mean "as lines"?
have you exported an swf from illustrator and imported that into flash?

In Flash you can set the stroke to Hairline, Solid, Dotted, or even something that sort of looks like a crayon line. This is probably your best bet for achieving a crayon look with lines. Another option would be to animate your figure with standard lines and place the entire animation under a shifting speckled mask. Possibly giving it that chunky crayonesque look.
Hope this helps,

reply to Billy T: Yes I did export as SWF, but the brush strokes exported what were lines in my AI as shapes with hundreds of points .
reply to Pixelwit: Thanks for the reminder about the brush strokes in Flash- they may have to do it. I had the same idea about the spotted mask-- maybe it would work, but it would be a system hog.
reply to both: thanks for taking the time to help me out.
