alright hopefully this will make sense>
What i want to be able to do is to scroll through frames, so that if i push a button it will play through my frames until it gets to a specified frame then it will stop, and i want it to be able to scroll forwards and backwards. I am sure that this is an easy task, but its giving me the newbie a hell of a time.

that is basically what i want to be able to do except that i would like to be able to do it from left to right.

ok its not playing back and forth through frames its moving the scroller thingy up and down with actionscript
