WebService component for MX2004

Hi!

I upgraded my Flash 5 to MX2004 Standard recently, Is it possible to code Webservice clients with MX Standard? I wanted to try out the tutorials, but I did not find the WebService component, is it separate? Is there an alternative?

The WebService component only comes with Flash MX 2004 professional. The standard addition was mainly targeted at animators and didn't include most of the software development components. If you are a programmer/engineer I recommend you get the professional version instead (Flash 8 professional was just released).

I guess you can look around if some else created a web service component for Flash MX or if all else fails, create your own... :(
