I want to develop an auto-keyframe extension. Basically I just want it to be a persistent effect that can be toggled on/off - if you make any sort of change to the current selection (x,y,scale,skew, etc...) Flash automatically sets a keyframe on the correct layer at the current position in the timeline.

Im not new to programming, but I am new to making extensions. I assume it would go something like this?

if (any change to current selection) {
fl.getDocumentDOM().getTimeline().insertKeyframe() ;
}

Haha, I know it's stupid, but like I said Im a newbie to JSFL and the entire extension process...

Any help or advice or links would be greatly appreciated! :)

I would think is a bad idea to have a javascript code that is constantly checking for changes as it will slow down everything. better to write commands that do specific tasks when called. They can create a keyframe while they are at it!
