flash buttons on html

im sure there is anothere forum on how to inster a flash button on a html page with haveing other html links and such on it also but i cant seem to find it thanks.

ok say i have a flash button i export it as a swf file but i want to put it onto a html page but still have other things like pictures on the side or links.

just use the <embed> tag

no im a moron(sound), ill hafta fiddle with the sound but back to the embedding ok so then i publish th button but where can i spicify the location of the button appears on the page lik say i wanted to put it over an image on the html file.

you mean a background image or an <img src> image?

if it's the latter then I dont know how to do it. Have you used layers and iframes in dreamweaver? Might be a way to do it with them...

quick on the draw there billy thanks for all the help but i use the basics of all basics geocities page builder so i dont know s*(feel free to fill these in)*t about tags or all that so yah, oh well. cause when ever i try to copy the embedded swf files on to another html file it always screws up the page. theres probably a lot of errors cause u hafta do more than copy and paste but oh well thaks again.

dot need to worry bout this no more i found a way to input the flash button script on a picture thanks anyways for repling.
