Changing Extention to Video

I need to change my "swf" file to something my dvd player can read.
Is this possible without downloading somthing from the internet and going through a hassle?

Short answer... with out the .fla (source) no.
Longer answer... if this is just an animation and you had the .fla and if you already have a mpeg-2 compressor then you might be able to do it. You of course would need a dvd burner or I guess a cd burner if your dvd player will play VCD or SVCD. If you have a dvd-burner or even a cd-burner it may have come with software that can take an .avi file and automatically convert it to a format your dvd player can read, such as DVD, VCD or SVCD.
