constant border....

I've been seeing a lot of pages that have something like a border or even a thin music pannel that stretches across the top of the page that doesn't change or dissapear even though you may move to another page in the site. I was wondering how this is possible? Is it just done with Ascript or does it require more work by duplicating it for every swf file that you have in your page so that if you move, everything changes but because you have just duplicated the bar, it looks like it stayed the same????

the bar is probably in an external movie that is loaded into a high level

when you click a button to move to another section it would load another "content"" movie in a lower level and leaves the top bar where it is.

either that or the bar is in the top layer and the buttons just jump to different parts of the timeline where the lower layers change...

the content is being loaded into a empty mc.

remember that you're in the beginners section...how would you load an empty mc in there to achieve that????
