Transforming text fields

I have a pre-loader in my movie that I wanted to have the "bytes_loaded" text field transformed so that it appeared at an angle in perspective with the load bar.

I notice that as soon as I transform the field it no longer collects the "bytes_loded" value!?!?

Is there a way around this. I think I've seen it done on the old "Flight 404" site where the the fields had actual time values assigned to them and were draped in a ribbon formation but still returning the time value.

Not sure how to though.

Is the font embedded in the field? <- First question to ask with any text field problem.

No its not...dammit! I knew it. I will try that.

But no go. Included outlines for numbers and letters for Arial. As soon as I transform it, it happens.
