help with downloading a file

I have made a button
who says

on (release) {
getURL ("txt.zip");
}


so that the visitor can download a file
but it isn't working

if i say http://www.me.it/htdocs/txt.zip (fake)
or htdocs/txt.zip
they are also not working

what am I doing wrong

Hi...
Ensure that you give the 'absolute address' to the file you want to have download. Heres an example of a file which has been compressed into zip format:

http://www.actionscripts.org/movies/download/3dzoom.zip
