As we seem to be coming to what is being termed as "Community Project Number One", I have started reading a book that goes by the name of The Cathedral and the Bazzar (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/cathbazpaper/toc.html).

It's basically about the open source movement/Linux, etc...I have yet to really experiment with ANY of this stuff but it makes me reallywant to...

I have yet to finish it, but, so far there seems to be some really great ideas about tackling projects such as "CP1"...Maybe some things that we might want to adopt, think about, muse over, laugh about or whatever, but at least should be taken into consideration....

Any one else heard of this?

No, but I just ordered it on Amazon...looks good. Maybe we can look back when we're done and compare notes and see where it all went horribly horribly wrong...hah!

Good to hear, Vile. It is an interesting read, if you are into that kinda thing! It'll be good to keep certain things in mind with said project, as you will see. Let me know whan you get it... I suggest starting in the back with the Hacker stuff. It's really good and gets you in the right mindframe....
