Ok,
I give up. Does anyone know how to sidestep the ridiculous problem of the Tree Component's lack of an onSelect, onPress, or onClick event?
I have scripted the selection and deselection of multiple nodes in the Tree display through single clicks or shift+click (multi-selection). But I have to execute these on the Tree's silly "Change" event. This means that my multiple selections blink off/on once each each time a new selection is made as the Change event must occur some internal pre-defined events concerning onPress happen - gross!
Anybody have fantastic ideas besides using Sepiroth's DND Tree?
Yours depressingly,
Jgosper
