.swf within a .swf

I created a slide show and I want to insert it a seperate .swf within a current .swf. The problem is, the inserted .swf's actionscript seems to be being ignored, so it just keeps playing and looping on it's own. Is there a way around this?

You can try to copy and paste ALL the frames into the new movie, from the old .swf file. Just make sure you paste it in the same place as the .swf so your paths and such will still be correct
