The hangman game I have attached seems to have a fault. Everything works fine but (!!) after the first time you get something wrong the alien does not re-appear, apart from when u get it all completly wrong again and you get a glimpse of it.

Could someone have a look at this for me and tell me how to alter it so the parts of the alien re-appeare again with each wrong guess.

Thanks to anyone in advance for their time and help...:) this one has stumped me:rolleyes:

Unexpected file format! Can't open your .fla.
You'd have a better chance of getting an answer if your .fla was in a MX only format, and zipped up.

You would have to save a copy of your MX2004 .fla, (using Save as...) and changing the Document type to MX only in the Save as... window.

Ok - sorry about that...I have attached another copy, I hope this works. I forgot it was MX 2004.

Problem now is that you haven't included the 3 external .as files.

Hey

I downloaded the file... but I think there might be more stuff missing... I get a text box and a button, but then nothing...

Is that all the files?

Oh...

Well the files are taken from Flash MX 2004 Cd (Chapter 33) there are sixe files - one fla, one swf, one html and three script files

I presume you would not need the html or swf file or is this wrong?

When opened it should come up with an alien etc/hangman game

Hmmm, yes, I would pressume so. like I said, it doesnt seem to be doing anything... which is strange. Im not sure you are allowed to post all the files...? Are you?

um...I don't know about that? anyone got any ideas why it isn't showing up?
Have you got MX2004? would that make a difference? Can anyone else view it?

hmm....don't know what to do now :confused:
