infinite ways - confusing sometimes

Have you noted that, with Flash, there are so many different ways to achieve something that sometimes you get confused? At least I get confused sometimes. You can make you app OOP and component-ware, or you can place (hide) code on the timeline. And when you need to reuse something there are many ways you can achieve that... well, hope you got the point... do you have ever had this experience?
