from what you posted you are calling movieclips that do not exist.

with(ScrollPane) {
lineStyle(3, "0x000000",100);
moveTo(55.5, 275);
lineTo(55.5, 5);
moveTo(55.5, 275);
lineTo(1455, 275);
}

Thank you very much!
It is now displaying the line inside the scrollpane but it is getting out of the scrollpane
What I want is that since the line is very long horizontally, the whole line should be visible inside scrollpane itself..not on the other part of the screen
I guess for that I have to create a movieclip and place the line in the movieclip and this movieclip should be inside Scrollpane?
How do I implement this? Please tell me
Thanks!

Unexpected file format! Can't open your .fla.

Assuming you're using AS1.0 components...

You'd have a better chance of getting an answer if your .fla was in a MX only format, and zipped up.

You would have to save a copy of your MX2004 .fla, (using Save as...) and changing the Document type to MX only in the Save as... window.

Or post on a MX2004 forum...

Hi
I am not able to get the lines drawn inside the scrollpane when I am doing it in a multi frame file.
It would be more clear if you see the fla(MX 2004 format)
You will find that the lines when keep on growing in the horizontal direction finally crosses the screen.
Also, all these lines are visible everywhere. If you click on Help or any other TAb, you can still see those lines which shouldnt be the case.
Please just help me in two things
1. What do I do so that the lines are visible only in the Graph part(frame)
2. I want that the horizontal graph should automatically get inside a scrollpane after it is about to cross the screen.

There is nothing to code, just that I am not able to get the movie clip inside the scrollpane so that the resulting lines get drawn inside the scrollpane.

As the file is quite large, I have kept it at a gmail account
