The problem seems simple, but I can not figure it out. I made a simple movie instance with 4 buttons in it. I want the buttons to move to a different scene, but it does not seem to be working. I want the top button to gotoAndStop on the first frame on scene 1, and I want the 2nd button to gotoAndStop on the first frame on scene 2, and so on. Any help to this new flash user would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't had a look at your .fla, but...

Don't ever target scene names in your Flash life again, if that's what you've been doing... Target labeled frames only...

Well in that case, your suggestion is bad, as it's exactly what Oldnewbie, and I agree, said shouldn't be done... Which is targeting scene names...

Can somebody let me know what are the limitations/disadvantages of using scenes in your FLA. I feel that using scenes makes it look very modular and as far as I know when the SWF is published it just appears as if its a single time line...

Your thoughts are appreciated!

As long as you never target scene names, I've never been against using several scenes, if you're confortable with them...
