Hi,
I've published a a swf file used for advertising in a website.
This SWF file is then imported into the main swf file. But as soon as it does that text looks teribly blurred...
Is there a reason for this?
I have tried changing the text to all its formats but have had no luck.
Cheers! :)

What do you mean by "imported"? Did you use loadMovie to load it into your main movie? Loading it in a empty container movie clip?

Hi OldNewbie,
Yes, i mean it's an external swf file being loaded into a loader in my Main swf.
Have a look at this to see what I mean...

When the site first loads up, there's a short blurred on the Small Wall.
Thanks

SkyNarc,
If you're using Flash8, you can set the anti-aliasing on that text box to "None" which would get rid of that blurring effect.
If you're not using Flash8, make sure the text box's x and y coordinates are whole pixels (ie 350, 491, etc). Also, every container that the text box resides inside of should also be on whole pixels.
This was a very common problem pre-Flash8.

What font are you using on that textfield? A standard one?

It looked like Verdana to me, which should work fine with no anti-aliasing.
