hi all,
I don't have Flash 8 yet, but I was just browsing through the doc and noticed that they've deprecated the function TextFormat.getTextExtent() ... with no replacement :P Does anyone have some suggestions for another way of determining how much screen space a dynamically generated string in a text field occupies?
