Hi

Thanks for reading

Hi,
If you tween something by selecting "Create Motion Tween" from the Insert Menu and it has not been made into a symbol it will generate a tween element in your library. Deleting it from the library will remove the object from the first part of your tween and basically screw it up.
So either make sure you are tweening items that are saved as symbols in your library already or use the tween command on the "frame" floating panel as this seems to behave slightly different in this matter. Don't ask me why! (anybody know?)
cheers,
Rupert
