It should be possible using flash communications server. I am easily able to record video/audio messages and have several applications.
video recording studio (http://evesham.no-ip.com/website-new/flashcom/audio-video-studio/index.html) is just one example.

hi mr-webcam

I understand that we are able to record video/audio messages using Flash communication server. But here, my query would be "Is it possible to record an audio input thro a users mic combined with the mp3 which is streaming from the server. To make it clear, as in other karaoke systems, we have a mp3 music streaming from a server. Hearing to that music, the user sings along and I need to record his voice combined with the mp3 and save it as one file. This means recording 2 inputs and saving as one output" Hope I am clear here... Please answer this as soon as possible.

Im looking how to do exactly what is being described above as well. And since I need it to work on a Linux webserver my only option is Flash really as I can't use C# or VB.
