question on flash player version on linux

hello,
sorry for this question which seems a little bit stupid but I really really need help: I'm doing a Flash project that must work on a Linux platform with firefox and I'd ask you if flash player 7.0.61 that i can download from Macromedia has the same behaviour of Flash player 7r19 version I have installed on my window pc. :confused:
how could i be sure my swfs will completely work on Linux with a flash version?

By testing them on linux.

There shouldn't be any differences, in theory, but in practice, there may be.
