xml problem on browser

Hi I have created a script that reads an xml data in flash.

The thing is the data shows when I test the movie in flash, but when I publish it and view it on a browser like explore and firefox the data isn't shown.

Has anyone had this problem before and if so how do i fix it.

I am using flash 8

How are you referencing the xml, the problem is probably there if it working locally, but bot on a server.
