Download problems

Hello,

I am trying use the new file reference class to download a PDF to the desktop. The pdf's are generated with a random number as the name eg:3612343. The download function is finding the file OK and giving the name myPDF.pdf in the dialog box as expected. The download then begins as expected however just before completing it stops.

I get a message saying plug-in cancelled in the safari activity monitor?

The really strange thing is this doesn't happen every time?

Any ideas what it going on?

How big is the pdf file you are trying to download.

If the file is bigger than 2-3 mb, my expirence of the filreference.download is that it uses a large amount of memory and the cpu shoots to 100%.
I was using this to download files up to 30 mb but had to abandon it because of the memory usage and cpu usage. It allocated on the 30 mb file up to 3 giga of virtual memory. This surly must be a bug. Have posted the issue on the Macromedia bug report.

But no answers yet, figures :(
