Hi,

Is it possible to make shortcuts for an application on a mac like you do on pc?

I'm on a pc and I want to make a shortcut to a mac projector in the root.
...I've looked aorund on other people's cdimages and they got a "star_mac" file in the root...can anyone explain this for me?

Thanks in advance*

I know that I might come off as irritating now...
but can somebody please explain this for me?
or ask me if you don't understand what I'm asking

Are you asking about Flash or about some sort of coding for an operating system?

Also try to refrain from bumping your post up again and again. The weekend (over here at least) tends to create a slow moving forum most people use the forum while at work (or so I assume). You'll get your answer eventually so long as you type it out neatly as well as accurately.

Not sure if this helps or not but...

Okay, I'll take a screen and try to explain the as accurate as I can.

Now first open the attached .jpg and take a look.

First you got the root.
In here you got a start_win.bat and a start_mac.
Now I think that the start_mac is working as the start_win.bat, correct me if I'm wrong.

In root/cdp you got the projector rasmus.exe which the
start_win.bat is linked to with this simple code;

@echo off
cdp\rasmus.exe

Nothing unusually with that.

And then you got a mac projector, rasmus.

Now since I'm guessing that the start_mac is doing the same as the start_win.bat, makes me wonder just how to make this start_mac shortcut.
Because I don't want the user to have to search through folders to find the mac projector.

And since I'm not an experienced mac user, could somebody explain for me what the .DS_Store, Desktop DB, Desktop DF in the root does?
And the .DS_Store in the root/cdp.

I already know that the .VolumeIcon.icns is an Icon file for mac.

So I'll guess my problem must be a mystery for you guys?
