Flashscene.org is organising a 4K Flash challenge. Competition starts at 1st of December 2005 when rules and objectives will be revealed.
There will be some nice prices for winners and also lots of fame and respect.
Participate and show the world what you can do with Flash!

It says that the intro must not require interaction. Can it include interaction if we want to make the coolness of our submission the interaction with the user and the program to create a cool efffect?

Intro needs to run independently. However, you can include possiblity for user to modify the effects on the run if you wish.
Idea of intros are that they are showable in same way as any movie would be, that is not requiring pressing space to go into another part etc.

I was thinking more like a cool effect (for instance, water) that reacts to the location of the mouse to move and change.

Hey, we just got more prizes to 4K Challenge competition!
Powerflasher, the maker of probably the best Flash development tool FDT is providing two full FDT licenses to the competition worth 200 euros each!

The competition is over, and now it’s up to you to select the winner and two runnerups.

The first flashscene.org coding contest is now over and we have results.
