audio synchronization problem

hello
i'm working with flash video, i have a videoclip and i need to put some animations over it, so i embedded the videoclip and created a new layer over it to put the animations, the problem is that the audio of the clip goes out of shynch. i think i must use embedded video because animations must play according with what the videoclip is showing, so i need to know the exact frame to place them. what can i do to avoid this problem??

Import it's sound seperately and re-insert it on it's own layer, setting it's Sync to "stream" and sync it up with the video.
You'll then have visual cues (the sound's modulations...) to sync up your own added visuals.
