How was this effect done??

I was looking at this site which has already been posted here, but I was more interested in the intro which draws the lines into a shape of something.

I was wondering if this can be done with something simple like a motion tween or does it require something more complex like actionscript to draw the lines in all sorts of different directions, etc.???

looks like them honest-to-goodness hard-to-fake animation skills to me - you could do it with AS but there wouldn't be much point...either way, nice!

er no, flash does this thing called "tweening" - it's seriously handy when it comes to animation...
