Hi

I am using FCS to record my voice by using mic (When an audio file is also running in the background). The resulting file includes both the MIC input an also the background audio file. My requirement though is only the MIC input. What am I supposed to be doing to get this done?

Thanx in advance

perhaps set the settings for recording in your sound card when you start doing the record. for example, select only mic record and not the wave.

Hi

I am using FCS to record my voice. When I try to record my voice as a separate file it's not happening; It also adds the background noise and if any other program is playing any songs (say windows media player), that song is also getting recorded. Its a standard windows property I believe.

I believe using some third party software this issue can be resolved

Anybody know how to solve this issue.

Thanx in advance

i don't think you can set the recording settings using fcs. what you have to do is double click on your voice icon on the taskbar and choose>>recording properties>>select "microphone" and not wave. then try again so that only the voice that go through microphone will get recorded not the background sound. i can capture the image to show you the steps. let me know.

Hi toke

Even i tryied that, It not happening bcos while i recording the sound are collected from the sound card, even though if you mute all other sound except microphone it's record all the sound.

But I am not looking for the above challenge bcos if I follow that, every client has to do the same for recording there voice.. I don't what that to be happen.

All I want is any other third party web based software is there to solve the issue? By this software we can record only the mic input not the other background sound or any other... basically some kind of OCX(activex file) can do this I belive.
