http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.lunrentertainment.com/
screen resolution: 800*600 or higher yours is 1200 height ?? solution: height:100%
Age 13 I was playing Larry and block out on Amiga in 1988
The mistakes you made is becuz you dont know, in 5 years time you be a pro.
aims: valid code first
Maybe try multi-media college from 18 on ...
for a 13 year old and first site, its a start. My advice is keep expanding your skills, with flash and vernture into the graphics world as well. This kid is 15, check out his work

wow! that is very impressive. So i should change my height to 800?? That doesnt make sense to me right now, but maybe im missing something...
Think about the possible resilutions, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, etc. Most peole are running at 1024x768 or 800x600. Personally, I work with a 1000x680 box in most of my projects.

http://www.motiongerm.com/whisper/main.html The code is not valid W3C yet.
The code is not valid W3C yet.
Good luck with that...valid by W3C standards is a nice dream, but a harder to achieve reality. Thank Microsoft for that.

The code is not valid W3C yet.
IT NEVER WILL BE
Flash does not product valid html.
Good luck with that...valid by W3C standards is a nice dream, but a harder to achieve reality. Thank Microsoft for that. Most of my coding when flash is not involved is valid, by W3 standards. I use a lot of CSS to do it.

@ Flash Gordon: It is possible but the methods are JS dependent or dependent on IE conditional comments: An overview: http://weblogs.macromedia.com/accessibility/archives/2005/08/in_search_of_a.cfm I used eg this one: http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/ufo/ Valid code! @ Black Dragon: two options wrap the flash in a
<div> Filling the whole window: Set the dimensions of flash as the container <div> Example: http://blog.deconcept.com/flashobject/fullpage.html using the flashobject described at http://blog.deconcept.com/flashobject/ Or setting width and height in px 1024*768 are FULL window dimensions not available ones (never forget it) Hence Cota said 1000px

so by changing my flash project to 1024*768 the resolution of my flash .swf will get better? And what is this whole valid script thing? What will happen if my html code is not valid? I found an option with golive that lets me fit the swf file to screen. Is this better?

It (=the movie) will fit that is *minimum requirements* so that the movie will fit in a 1024*768 screen
And what is this whole valid script thing? What will happen if my html code is not valid?
Nothing but could break layout in future or produce errors, valid HTML and valid flash embedded in HTML is not easy. HTML is not strict but XHTML will be. Have a read on doctypes: http://www.quirksmode.org/css/quirksmode.html
If your upto it:http://weblogs.macromedia.com/accessibility/archives/2005/08/in_search_of_a.cfm

Depends if you want to fill the screen with the flash movie entirely or not
