Can anyone help me everytime i try to make a projector file for either pc or mac i get this message: Error creating Flash projector file. Be sure that Flash is installed correctly and that the destination file is not locked or on a locked drive.

I'm using Flash MX Pro ver 7.2 on the mac OSX 10.4.3 thanks

Tried every location under the sun re-installed software aswell

the file is 33meg its for a CD-Rom but will if you want

Howdy and Welcome...

Make a sample file and see if that gives you the same error message... If it does, it probably is a good idea to post that sample file instead of the 33 MB file... If it does not, there is something you are not doing right in your file...

Something else to check. The below info is for Windows, but it's probably applicable to OSX as well:

On Windows, Flash uses two files to build projector files - SAFlashPlayer.data and SAFlashPlayer.rsrc. These are located in the "Players" folder, found within the Flash installation folder. They may have got corrupted.

"Readme.htm", also located in this folder, tells you about the debug and release versions of these files. Copy these files from either the "Debug" or "Release" folder into the "Players" folder and see if that helps.

Thanks ive disabled all the 3 party extensions and its done it must have been one of them thanks anyway
